Welcome to
Curtin Game Dev_ Club!

Are you passionate about video games?

Curtin Game Development Club is a diverse club for all those who love making games.

Our club is open to students from a wide variety of disciplines and skill levels.

Our Club Goals

  • Ensure a fun and safe environment for learning and cooperation as per: Our Safe Spaces Agreement.
  • Connect both with other game developers and the local games and digital media industries.
  • Support people of varying skill levels in all aspects of game production; programming, UI/UX, concept art, asset creation, writing, design, music and more.
  • Create opportunities for club members to make new friends and test their game development skills through fun events.

What We Offer

  • Weekly Meetups - Playtest games and get feedback on your works-in-progress both in-person and through the official Curtin Game Dev_ Club Discord Server!
  • Pitch Jams - Form teams to pitch your game ideas in a fun and experimental environment, with prizes given to the best concepts.
  • Game Jams - Test your skills to create your own games within a short deadline, often with wild results!
  • Casual Social Events - Make some friends and play some games, who's up for pizza?
  • Inter-Club Collaborations - Get to meet other students from different clubs, and find out how your interests overlap! We regularly collaborate with Curtin Animation Club, Curtin Illustration Club and Curtin Writers Club.
